  • Email address and message details when you contact us, request access, or ask for coverage.
  • Saved works, followed markets, workspace preferences, and request context when you use those features.
  • Basic usage data such as pages visited, browser type, referring page, and approximate timestamps.
  • Public publishing metadata from publisher, country, rights, and bibliographic sources.

Why we collect it and legal basis

We use personal data to provide requested functionality, respond to messages, protect the service, and understand which public routes are useful. We rely on consent when you submit a form or request access, and legitimate interest for security, product quality, and limited usage measurement.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, error monitoring, and database operations. Those providers process data only to help operate WPH.

Retention

We keep account, request, and workspace data while it is needed to provide the service or respond to you. Operational logs are kept for a limited period unless needed for security, debugging, or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete personal data tied to your email where deletion is practical.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal data we hold about you. We will verify the request and respond within a reasonable time.

WPH may use cookies or local browser storage for session state, saved public items, preferences, analytics, and security. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, though some workspace and saved-item features may stop working.

Public publishing data

The platform uses public and curated publishing records. We separate this industry metadata from personal account or request data and provide correction paths when records need review.

Regional privacy rights

WPH is built to support GDPR-style privacy rights for access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection where applicable. We also aim to honor comparable regional privacy requests in plain language.
